Inspired by the

Mornington Peninsula

Balcombe is a true small batch dry gin inspired by the flavours of our home on the Mornington Peninsula. In the same way our Garagiste Wines taste of where they are grown we have crafted Balcombe to have a true sense of place. Our gin is deliberately cloudy as we choose not to fine or filter. This adds the extra texture and interest we were after.

20 different Botanicals

Balcombe is composed from 20 different botanicals and contains ingredients unique to Balcombe like foraged Samphire, Saltbush, Kelp, Wild Fennel, and Wild Fennel Pollen from the Mornington Peninsula to give a true coastal flavour. We have also included Java Long Pepper, Blood Orange, Lemon Verbena, two types of Coriander and Ginger for complexity.Of course there is plenty of Juniper to balance all of those big coastal flavours.

A versatile gin

Enjoy neat, with tonic or in your favourite cocktail. We prefer a drier tonic as Balcombe has a hint of saltiness that tends to enhance sweetness.
Balcombe makes a fantastic Dirty Martini or even try it in a Dirty G & T!
Our favourite garnishes include green olives with a little brine, dehydrated citrus or both!
Barney and Cam from Garagiste Vintners produce Balcombe Gin. Garagiste Vintners is a small producer of premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir on the Mornington Penindula. Our wines truely express the site on which they are grown.
